The Uptown Body was created by me, Beverly Duru of Houston, Tx. I got my start in beauty as a teenager working for ULTA Cosmetics. I’ve been in beauty for 10+ years. Since beginning in the beauty biz, I’ve had the pleasure of working with companies such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Nars Cosmetics, Estée Lauder, and Becca just to name a few. While I absolutely love makeup artistry: the blending, the use of bright colors, & daring lash lengths, I love beauty education just as much. Because of my love for the two, I decided to start helping other women achieve their own beauty goals at home by offering lash products, classes, beauty services and now my online store and blog.
